FreeMASTER2.5 authenticate with password

Hi

  "Authenticate with Password" does this button mean that i can enter JTAG password to uncensor the device?

But why it's unusable in my FreeMASTER? How can i use it?

Hello,

In new driver for embedded application user can choose configuration:

FMSTR_RESTRICTED_ACCESS_R_PASSWORD  

FMSTR_RESTRICTED_ACCESS_RW_PASSWORD 

FMSTR_RESTRICTED_ACCESS_RWF_PASSWORD  

Once selected password would be required.

The passwords can be different for read and write.

So this feature is not intended for JTAG password.
