Weston-6 for i.mx6

I am trying to build weston-6.0.0 for i.mx6 board, but the last release I could found is weston-5.0.0.imx [https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/weston-imx/log/?h=weston-imx-5.0] 

Is there any plan to support weston-6.0.0 for imx6 ?

Will a merge weston-5.0.0.imx <-> weston-6.0.0 be sufficient ?
