We have been trying to bring up the i.MX 8M Quad Evaluation Kit with the Android demo images.

The images we have tried are:

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=O8.1.0_1.3.0_ANDROID_DEMO_8MQ_GA&appType=license&Parent_nodeId=1513109797983…

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=O8.0.0_1.3.0_ANDROID_DEMO_8MQ_BETA&appType=license&Parent_nodeId=15131097979…

We have used the fsl-sdcard-partition.sh and the MFGtool methods to setup SD-card with the Android demo image.

When trying the fsl-sdcard-partition.sh script to setup a sd card, the board on boot up reads, "avb_ab_flow.c:516: ERROR: No bootable slots found."

On trying the MfgTools method, the MfgTools detects the board as a HID device, but when it's about to flash the card, MFGTool starts showing, "no device connected", and the SD-Card doesn't get flashed.

Please let us know as to what might be the issue here.

Thanks.

note: the same setup is booting fine from sd-card with the linux demo image.
