why imx6 solo doesn't provide FG & BG both on secondary display

im using imx6 solo processor and when i configure 2 displays lvds/lcd and hdmi.

1st display is lvds and 2nd display is HDMI. I see for lvds, 2 framebuffer are allocated (fb0 & fb1) i.e FG & BG .

But for secondary display i.e HDMI only 1 framebuffer , fb2 is allocated , i.e FG. why we cant get overlay layer for secondary display in imx6 solo ? Or is there way to configure such that both tthe display get overlay layers

do you mean you couldn't see the fb3 under /dev?? when you use the command "cat /sys/class/graphics/fb3/name", what do you find?
