I created a home automation coordinator using BeeKit, compiled it with IAR and loaded to MC1322x Sensor Node evaluation board. Using Freescale Test Tool 12 I requested a network and connected a power switch device. While network exists I receive some messages by UART.

I have questions regarding the following message:

RX: MacData.Indication 02 86 01 41 FF FF 41 00 1D 00 00 00 AA 1A 02 E5 EC 38 53 41 00 38 53 AA 1A 02 27 A5 00 08 09 12 FC FF E5 EC 01 79 8C 03 00 00 00 52 0B 00 28 0A 00 00 00 8C 03 00 00 00 52 0B 00 00 AF 5E F1 54 9C 44 11 47 38 F1

It has MSDU field:

0B 00 28 0A 00 00 00 8C 03 00 00 00 52 0B 00 00 AF 5E F1 54 9C 44 11 47 38 F1

I recognize the device's (power switch) MAC address  8C 03 00 00 00 52 0B 00 in the MSDU.

Which document would you recommend to clarify the MSDU structure?

Thank you in advance.

Hello Rostislav,

You can find information regarding the messages received on the Command Console and general Test Tool's usage in the "BeeStack Black Box ZigBee Test Client (ZTC) Reference Manual.pdf" document.

This document comes with BeeKit's documentation: BSBBZTCRM.pdf  (<BeeKit Installation path>\Documentation\BeeStack 2007 Documents\)

Note: Just as an FYI, MC1322x has been marked as EOL, so I recommend you to use MKW2x or MC1323x for new designs.
