Pinout error in user M5223X manual

Hi All

I have seen that the latest user manual has corrected a few pin out errors but I think that there is still one remaining.

The 80 pin device has IRQ11 on pin 41 (according to the schematics of the demo board). In the user manual it not connected which seems to be incorrect.

A minor (probable) error is also in the schematics to the M52233DEMO and M52235EVB boards. They both use a symbol showing that the pin GPT0 has the alternative function PWM0. This should be PWM1 according to the users' manual.

Best regards

PS. I found them while adding a new function to the M5223X simulator (see screen shot on the home page). Hovering the mouse over the ports shows its pin number on the device type, its possible functions and the function presently in use - it is quite a useful feature as I have already experienced!!

I have posted a corrected version of the M52233DEMO schematic on the Axiom Manufacturing web site at www.axman.com.  You may download the updated version at any time.  Simply click on the Support option at the top of the home page and navigate to Coldfire - M52233DEMO.

I will post the corrected M52235EVB schematic as soon as I can.  If you need the EVB quickly, let me know and I can email it to you.

Thanks for pointing out this discrepancy and I apologize for any confusion.

Hi Spencer

No problem. It was a very minor thing which I spotted when doing some close checking.

Thanks for the good boards - I have several for a variety of projects and for support purposes - apart from one M52233 which somehow gave up the ghost when I set a port as output (got very hot and the core voltage is clamped at about 0,5V) they have been great.

Cheers

Mark
