Hello all, I am looking for source code for the flashloader.elf/srec binary packaged with the Flashloader_RT1050_1.x.zip archive.  If you know where I can find it please post a link.

P.S. I have had a look at MCUBOOT (aka KBOOT?) but it does not appear to contain a target for the RT105x.

Thanks.

I downloaded the latest SDK, 2.5.0 with all middleware components.

Can someone explain the exact folder where the flashloader source lives? (under mcu-boot?)

I was under the impression that "MCUBoot" was a completely separate utility that was pre-installed on the IMXRT ROM.

FlashLoader is a different application that is loaded into RAM after using MCUBoot receives it, so I'm not sure why the source for flashloader would live under mcu-boot.

Is the Flashloader source meant to be compiled directly?  I didn't see any makefiles either.

Hello

I apologize for the delay.

In the below web-page, you can find the flash loader:

i.MX RT1050 crossover processor| Arm Cortex-M7|NXP

You only need to download the flash loader from the Recommended Software & Tools part.

Best Regards,

Diego.

Hi Ran,

The flashloader source for RT1050 is available as optional middleware when you install the SDK from https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com/en/builder.

In the SDK builder, choose Add Software Component. The flashloader is listed under mcu-boot.

Regards,

Melissa

Hello Diego.  The link you posted appears to be the Flashloader distribution archive, not the source code.  I am specifically looking for the source code for all of the tools in this archive.

Thanks.

Hi Diego,

(1) Is there a schedule about the updating of MCU Bootloader? The year of the latest version is still 2016..........

(2) We are developing our product with RT1050, but there are "no" resources about bootloader in hyper flash(for example: source code of flashloader in hyper flash). It's glad to hear that you said the resources will be released in the upcoming SDK, but when will it be release? Is there any advance information about this new RT1050 SDK??

Thanks.

I am looking for the IMXrt1050  bootloader. I went to the site you recommended: MCU Bootloader|NXP.

There is no a bootloader for Imxrt1050. Any idea where I might be able to find it?

Thanks
