Why necessary to measure VOLT_DCB on MIMXRT1060-EVK/ FRDM-MC-LVPMSM?

Hi there, I was wondering if measuring VOLT_DCB is necessary when running the provided example for AN12214SW? Should it not be enough by measuring the three phases (Iabc)? Best regards C

Hi Carlio,

VOLT_DCB is the DC bus voltage and it is measured by ADC for the MC analog sensing. This is for feedback sensing needed by the FOC algorithm. You can learn more about this in this document.
