No, The REMAP feature of the RT1060 series, used here, is simply that the system will automatically handle the allocation of memory addresses and storage areas. For example, if your original code runs in BankA, in the case of updating only one image, you can generate a generic bin file without specifying it as APP_B.bin, but even though you don't need to specify it, the system will still update it through BankB.
