RT1064 with 802.3cg (multi-drop ethernet), would it work?

Hi all,

Been looking at these bad boys for stringing together a bunch of RT1064's:

It's a multi-drop capable Ethernet PHY.

CAN-FD isn't delivering the rates we need and looking to use something additional to stream data.
