hello,

we will be using MIMXRT1175xxxxx for our custom board because this is the only option we can purchased.

When building the SDK for MIMXRT1175xxxxx, we encountered this message for multicore option:

our question is:

1- does the MIMXRT1175xxxxx support multicore boot like MIMXRT1176xxxxx?  e.g. we boot CM7 first, using mcmgr library to boot CM4.  Why SDK for MIMXRT1175xxxxx  does not include multicore like MIMXRT1176xxxxx?

2- we have been using IMXRT1170-EVK to develop our application and hope that the MIMXRT1175xxxxx  can boot the same way.  Can you please confirm?

can you please confirm?

Thanks,

Henry

Hi @henrynguyen ,

Thank  you for your interest in the NXP MIMXRT product, I would like to provide service for you.

Answer your questions:

=》Kerry: Yes, RT1175 support multicore!

So, you don't need to care about the page information, just download it, it normally will use the RT1176 project, but the SDK package also contains the RT1175 header file, you just need to use the RT1175 headfile, to the mulitcore, it is the same between RT1175 and RT1176.

2- we have been using IMXRT1170-EVK to develop our application and hope that the MIMXRT1175xxxxx  can boot the same way.  Can you please confirm?

=>Kerry: Yes, just as I told you, in the header file, use the RT1175, then RT1175 totally works.

You just need to know, what's the difference, just RT1175 lack LCD and CSI, DSI, GPU2D, PXP, 1G ENET, others are totally the same.

Best Regards,

kerry
