coding and decoding on imx8m

I want to do video coding and decoding on imx8m, encoding the camera image collected by v4l2 into 264code stream and sending it to another host computer, but I can't find the relevant information about coding and decoding in imx8m. Do you have any relevant program examples and documentation?

Hello yf,

You can check the documentation folder of your BSP, it have the Linux user guide with all the decoder and encoder that its supported by Linux BSP.

I've looked at the user's guide and the BSP folder, but I've only seen a little introduction to the decoder in the documentation, without mentioning the use of the relevant library. I'd like to make sure that imx8m has an encoder? My main purpose is to migrate mxc_vpu_test from imx6 to imx8m.

Do you have any relevant information or routines that can be shared with me?
