Hey, I saw the i.MX23 a while ago and thought it would be a perfect horse for my next ride. So I built a custom board in a mobile form factor, based on the reference schematic, and my PCB is delivered. Now, I'm not that good at software, but I want to know what is the easiest and quickest way to write a small code (blinking an LED), download to the processor and clap as the LED toggles :-) Any help is warmly appreciated!

Okay so then I would go here http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=IMX23SDK_V0912&nodeId=0162468rH31143Z... This will give you the source for the boot loader and documentation. You will also need tools do do what you're trying. Do you have a tool yet? There is a JTag tool forum within the iMX Community you can go to for info on tools. Let me know if this helps get you going.

Thanks Kevin. I've seen that application report, but I'm not familiar with the Linux platform...that is something I'll work on for the full project. Like I said, I just wanted to demonstrate my board by blinking an LED. so I need a quick way to write a simple code on windows and download to the board...
