Dual display with X11 and Qt on iMX6

Hi,

I'm really new in Linux and Yocto, but I'm working with a quad core iMX6 device right now. This device has 2 displays: LVDS and HDMI. I know that the QMX6 supports a dual display of LVDS and HDMI,  but I am not able to make it work. I need to run two different Qt applications in X11 environment. I'm able to run a Qt aplication (with X11) in one of the displays, but I can not run two applications simultaneously.

I have been searching, and all that I have found was related to Qt+EGLFS, but not Qt+X11. Is there any posibility to run two Qt aplication in different displays in X11?

Thanks in advance,

Hi anegoiko

in general dual lcd is supported in linux, please refer to attached

Linux Guide sect.4.7 Running Linux OS on the target.

I am not aware of configs to making this with Qt, seems it could be used

as starting point. i.MX6 BSPs located on

i.MX 6 Series Software and Development Tool|NXP

Best regards

igor
