Hello NXP TechSupport

I built the version imx-5.4.3-1.0.0 on imx8qmmek,but I got different version image.

I followed these following build steps on Ubuntu16.04, and imx-image-multimedia is building successfully.

repo init -u https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/imx-manifest -b imx-linux-zeus -m imx-5.4.3-1.0.0.xml
repo sync
DISTRO=fsl-imx-xwayland MACHINE=imx8qmmek source imx-setup-release.sh -b build-xwayland
bitbake imx-image-multimedia

After flashing SD card image, imx8qmmek booted from the SD card.
I checked the Linux version with following command on imx8qmmek .

cat /proc/version
Linux version 5.4.47-lts-lf-5.4.y+g88b2efd (oe-user@oe-host) (gcc version 9.2.0 (GCC)) #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Apr 5 09:42:03 UTC 2021

Why was an image that was not the intended version built?

Regards

Hello NXP TechSupport

>Have you download success the images you build to the SD card?  Or the board boot from the default image on SD card?

Yes.I checked linux kernel version after flash image built successful.

 And I also confirm version from  tmp/work/imx8qmmek-poky-linux/linux-imx/5.4-r0/git/Makefile

VERSION = 5
PATCHLEVEL = 4
SUBLEVEL = 47

I finalize BSP release issue, so I rebuild image with BSP 5.4.3-2.0.0.
This issue is solved, and imx8qmmek is booted successfully.
Thanks

Have you download success the images you build to the SD card?  Or the board boot from the default image on SD card?  Here recommend you try the images you build to download to emmc and then boot up the boot from emmc to if the version is still. Then contact us.
