Is it 100 nA typical value for deep sleep mode?

Hello boradikmen‌,

the 100 nA isn't typical value for the deep sleep mode. Please see the KW01Z128 Datasheet. The STOP modes (VLPS, STOP) are similiar to ARM sleep deep mode (page 15). Table 5 shows operating behavior power consumption and Table 10 shows transceiver power consumption.

Karel

Dear Karel Povalac,

Many thanks for your support. It is not explicitly written (page 17) but I think WDT is also running in VLSS1 mode.

In this mode, current consumption is only 700 nA for 25 C. Transceiver's supply current in Sleep mode is 100 nA.

In this case, may be with careful I/O configuration (its states. pull-up or pull-down conditions) the minimum total current driven by the MKW01Z128 can be as low as 800 nA.

There is almost no information about the WDT. All I can find is it can be run from 1 kHz internal clock. But no driven current information.

Can you give me a net numerical value for my question in the subject for 3V operation?

Best regards,

Bora

Hello boradikmen‌,

watchdog is not running in VLSS1 mode. I think the 800 nA is achievable in the VLSS1 mode. More information about the watchdog can be find in reference manual KW01Z128 RM. See the chapter 1.4.10.

Regards,

Karel
