Hello NXP team,
We have successfully integrated the "SD-WLAN-SD-BT-8997-U16-MMC-W16.68.10.p162-16.26.10.p162-C4X16693_V4-MGPL" driver on Android 12 Linux 4.9.178 on our custom platform based on BG5CT. With this updated driver integrated into our image, we could connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz access points.
However, during our testing of the DUT's connection on all the channels for country code=FR of the access point with OPEN, WPA2, and WPA3 security, we observed the following:
1. When the access point was configured with a 2.4Ghz band with channel numbers 12 and 13.
--> Sometimes, DUT could not scan the AP for OPEN, WPA2, and WPA3 security.
2. When the access point was configured with a 5Ghz band
- For OPEN and WPA2 security
--> For DFS channel numbers 52, 56, 60, 64, 100, 104, 108, and 112, there is a delay of approximately 1 minute to scan the AP.
--> For DFS channel numbers 116, 120,124, and 128, there is a delay of approximately 10 minutes to scan the AP.
--> For DFS channel numbers 52, 56, 60, and 64, there is a delay of approximately 1 minute to scan the AP.
--> For DFS channel numbers 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, and 128, we are experiencing uncertainty in the results.
--> For channel numbers 100, 104, 108, and 112, after a delay of approximately 1 minute to scan the AP sometimes we cannot connect to the AP and sometimes it gets connected successfully to the AP.
--> For channel numbers 116, 120, 124, and 128, after a delay of approximately 10 minutes to scan the AP sometimes we cannot connect to the AP and sometimes it gets connected successfully to the AP.
