Using single output XTAL for an external clock input of QN908 series

Dear experts!

Currently, I am using the QN908 series and trying to use an external 32kHz oscillator with a single output (simply because I already have it).

This oscillator only has one CLK output channel but QN908 is supposed to have ports for XTAL32_in and XTAL32_out.

Can I use this external clock for driving QN908 clocks? or need to buy a new oscillator.

Thank you!

Hi @DeeY,

Please help me take a look into QN908x Hardware Design Considerations, section 5.4 (Clock injection) for all the considerations in utilizing an external oscillator.

As a note, for a low frequency, the clock must be 32.768 kHz.

Best regards, Julián
