This board does not appear to be able to be powered via
the Ijet Trace(ETM) like the K60 board. I have looked through the schematics and it
looks like pin 1 on the Ijet Trace header is routed to J1 on the
board(configuration 5-6 on J1). However I still cannot get the Ijet Trace to
power like the other Kinetis Kits. The K60 board works just fine with power through JTAG. Any help would be appreciated.

Dear Colin,

In order to power the MCU via the I-jet device you should:

  • Select position 1-2 in J1 (P5V_USB)
  • Shunt J12 (connect I-jet voltage to P5V_USB)
  • Make sure the “Target power” is enabled in IAR options for J-jet/JTAGjet

Please just notice that this will provide the power voltage for the target MCU only. While you will be able to download and debug your program, other TWR board’s components might not be fully operable.
