PN7161 MIFARE question & difference with PN5190/5180

Hi NXP Team.

Can PN7161 read cards with MIFARE PLUS (EV1, EV2, X)?

And what is the difference between PN7161 & PN5190/PN5180 (hardware, firmware, firmware effort)? What is the benefit of the embedded firmware in the PN7161?

*I understand PN7161 can not handle EMVCo but we don't need that.

Thanks for the table but I still have some questions.

1. PN7161 can handle MIFARE Ultralight and MIFARE Plus? In the datasheet is not mentioned, only MIFARE Classic & Desfire are mentioned.

2. Similar question for the PN5180, can this reader handle MIFARE Desfire/Ultralight/Plus? Because in the datasheet is not mentioned. Only is mentioned MIFARE Classic.

3. Can the PN5190, PN5180 & CLRC663 have ECP by Apple? (Not mentioned in their datasheets).

Hi @Asael7 

1) PN7160/PN7161 can support MIFARE Ultralight and MIFARE Plus.

2) PN5180 can support MIFARE Ultralight and MIFARE Plus.

3)  PN5190, PN5180 & CLRC663 have ECP support, need approve from Apple.
