AW-CM276MA-PUR PCM interface

Hi, 

For audio applications, we plan to connect the AW-CM276MA-PUR(NXP 888W8997) WIFI/BT combo chip to the imx8qxp EVK.
Does the imx8qxp M2 connector support the PCM interface mentioned in the AW-CM276MA-PUR datasheet?
If so, explain the use cases of the PCM interface.
