Possible to Erase/Sanitize all memory while running?

We are using an S32K148, and our customer has a requirement that the device be able to sanitize all volatile and non-volatile memory upon command, while in operation (no debugger or programmer, should wipe itself).

Is there a way to do this without a bootloader?  We presently do not have a bootloader, and using one would add significant complexity.

Hello @m_mishrikey,

Volatile memories are reinitialized after every reset.

Non-volatile memories can be erased by sectors from the FTFC controller.

Except for the EEE backup. The FlexNVM should be pertitioned only once in the life time of the device.

I'm not sure I understand this use case, can you eleborate on the description?

Regards,

Daniel

I think it's either trade secret protection,  or an extreme cybersecurity requirement.   Like in the TV cartoon Inspector Gadget - "This message will self destruct in 5 seconds..."
