Hi,

the fashing methods in the manual https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN13727.pdf in the 1. step after u-boot is started, say to copy the image fron tftp server into ddr ram. Then in the 2. step it says to write the content from ddr ram to SD/eMMC

My problem is that the ubuntu image is about 7GB big and RDB3 board memory is only 3GB. So the 1. step does not work.

Q: why it is required to copy into ddr memory and not to write direct to SD/eMMC from tftp?

Q: Any idea how to flash the ubuntu image remotely, e.g. over the air, without switching between sd/emmc/qspi?
