PCA9635 LEDn at startup

Hi, i'm using a PCA9635, driving LEDs with external drivers (NMOS). The problem is that, due to registers default values, at the startup, when the PCA9635 POR is released, the LEDs turn on for a short period, before an external microcontroller reconfigure the registers to drive External NMOS.

Is there any solution to change te default registers value loaded at startup, or any other way to avoid led flash at startup?

Thanks

Hi Alessio,

I do not fully understand the problem you are facing as after the power-on reset, the registers are initialized to their default state, meaning LEDOUTx registers are set to 0x00. In this case, the NMOS should be turned off. There is no way to change the default registers value.

BR, Tomas
