Hello, I am currently writing my Bachloar thesis and I have some questions about Ethernet Switch SJA1105TEL, when its MAC Table(address Lookup Table) gets full. 1. how does the switch behave? are all frames(except entries used by higher layer protocols ) broadcasted(Open Fail State)? 2. the table is full, each dynamic entry has an aging time, when aging time is reached, the entry is deleted. can the table learn new entries? or is no new entry written in the table? if there is a document for this, can you pls send me for reference.
