Weak BDM port of QG8 or OSBDM unstable?

Dear All,

Recently I started use 9s08QG8 and I bought an OSBDM kit from the web. I encountered several problem while using the QG8 and OSBDM.

First, some of my QG8 cannot connect with the OSBDM and the DEMO9S08QG8 board, please refer to the image below.



This happened with several of my mcus ( I bought from freescale directly), and these bad mcus only programmed less than 100 times, but they really didn't work anymore with OSBDM or demo board.

Second, another problem occurred in random,


I don't know how to overcome this problem because it's random.

Much has been written on using the OSBDM and 908QG parts.

The solution is to hold the BKGD pin low while the device is powered up.
This will force it into debug mode. This normally only has to be done the first time it is programmed.
