Hi,

I'm starting developing for the LPC1759.

As I can see, LPCOpen is recommended instead of CMSIS-CORE. So, I stopped working with CMSIS and want to use LPCOpen.

However, in the downloading page, I only see support for LPC17xx in version 1.xx.

Is this an stable version? Is it save to start developing using v1.03?

Regards,

Oscar

:D

LPCOpen is using this board library to make a few things easier...

If you start with a new project (which has hopefully a board  :) ) just make a copy of the LPCXpresso board library and use this copy. Of course you can also work without board library and use CMSIS core only.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do and if you want to use samples  :)

In general it's useful to understand this board library and with a few changes (LEDs, IOCON settings...) your non-board LPC1759 is working with LPCOpen samples...

Thank you for the answer.

I'm not interested in developing for a specific board. As I can see, the latest version V2.10 is for two specific boards, and none of them includes the LPC1759.

Is it possible to download version V2.10 and still compile for LPC1759?

Is there any example that targets a given processor but not a specific board?
