Specifications for crystal specification for MK12DX256

Hi,

I plan to use the MK12DX256VLK5 part for a design and connect 8MHz external crystal and the 32.768KHz crystal.

I need some help in selecting the crystal/resonator for this part. In the datasheet I cannot find the required crystal specification like fundamental mode, tolerance, stability, drive specification, load specifications of the crystal. 

Does NXP have a separate white paper or design document specific to the crystal selection for this part?

I have some recommendations to help you

Please see page 27 section 6.3.2.1 Table 15. Oscillator electrical specifications, you can see some specifications and these recommendations.

1. See crystal or resonator manufacturer's recommendation

2. Cx and Cy can be provided by using either integrated capacitors or external components.

3. When low-power mode is selected, RF is integrated and must not be attached externally.

4. The EXTAL and XTAL pins should only be connected to required oscillator components and must not be connected to any other device.
