iMXRT1052 EVK printer support

Hi,

I am currently working with iMXRT1052 EVK and we are in prototyping phase. I am looking to verify the host printer support in the SDK. I would like to connect my home printer SCX 3400 Samsung printer to the EVK. Should I use the USB B to USB micro B cable to connect the printer to the USB device connector in the EVK? Also is there any procedure to install the driver to the host?

Does the current sample code for host printer support printers with PCL? If I want to use a printer with SPL printing language, is it possible to implement it?

Hi @EmbeddedTech ,

Yes, you can use this cable to connect EVK and printer. There is USB host printer examples in RT1060 SDK. But there isn't any guide to install printer driver. You have to add printer drive code into project source code.
