Hello community,

In Reference Manual of IMXRT like a IMXRT1170RM rev 1, Table 11-1. Muxing Options have "Mode" column.

What does "No muxing" mean in the "Mode" column?

In Reference manual of IMX6, it mean that "No muxing" pad are allocated only one signal.

It have no IOMUX and "SW_MUX_CTL_PAD_xxxxx" SW MUX Control Register.

But Reference Manual for IMXRT, many "No muxing" signals are assigned multiplex pin.

Best regards,

Ishii.

Hi,
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
1) What does "No muxing" mean in the "Mode" column?
-- It means the pins will work as the corresponding function automatically once the related module is enabled.
Have a great day,
TIC

Hello Jeremyzhou,

Thank you for your reply.

-- It means the pins will work as the corresponding function automatically once the related module is enabled.

My understanding is a  following,

If ADC1_A0 is enabled IOMUX of GPIO_AD_06 pin connect to Analog IO-ADC1_A0.

And IOMUX control registers, SW_MUX_CTL_PAD_GPIO_AD_06 and SW_PAD_CTL_PAD_GPIO_AD_06 are ignored.

Is it correct?

Best regards,

Ishii.
