Super-Cap on i.MX RT1052 VDD_SNVS_IN?

Hello,

If VDD_SNVS_IN is directly supplied by a super-cap what are the design guidelines? Real-time counter needs to be preserved in the design.  Is a schottky diode still required between VDD_HIGH_IN and VDD_SNVS_IN?

Thanks, in advance.

Scott

-- A coin battery is a good choice.
2) Is a Schottky diode still required between VDD_HIGH_IN and VDD_SNVS_IN?
-- Please review the Fig 1.
