RT1176x with HyperRam

Hello,

We'd like to use one of the below HyperRAMs below on our project with RT117x series MCUs.

• W956A8MBYA5I    
• S27KL0642GABHI020
• S27KS0642GABHB020

Are HyperRAMs suitable for the RT117x series? When we compare the SDRAM used on the EVK which is W9825G6KH-5I, how would the performance change? Thank you in advance!

As told in the RT1170 datasheet:

"The i.MX RT1170 also provides various memory interfaces, including SDRAM, RAW NAND FLASH, NOR FLASH, SD/eMMC, Quad/Octal SPI, Hyper RAM/Flash..." [Page 1, i.MX RT1170 Crossover Processors Data Sheet for Industrial Products, Rev. 3, 07/2022].

As for the differences, there will be multiple differences between each part number, given the technology is different. We recommend contacting the specific suppliers and ask for the comparison on performance, they might already have something that works for you.
