Do we need to use a custom FCB? thanks!

Yes, you can create your customized FCB with the our Secure Provisioning Tool  (SPT) . Below an example

Below snapshot, shows that you can customize, test and create your own FCB with the SPT.

Also, you can use the MCUBoot Utility  ( developed by our colleague Jay Heng). To genereate a bootable image for your memory. As you can see in the below snapshot, here is a generic model of your flash selected.
