imxRT1060 EVB SHARING PINS

Hi

I have an imxrt1060 Evaluation board and in the schematic drawing there is a pin sharing between JTAG and ETH (ETH_RESET_N is shared with JTAG_TDI and ETH_INT is shared with JTAG_TDO) . Can I have problems if I use this configuration of pins to make a new card with the same micro?

Hello Giovanni Grondona,

You won't have any problems if you use this configuration. But, if you are planning to use JTAG to program/debug your i.MXRT and in your application you change the mode of the JTAG pins to ETH then you won't be able to debug your program. If you use SWD to program/debug your application (which is the case of the i.MXRT1060-EVK) then you won't have any problems with these pins.
