Hi

I'm evaluating RT1170 on my board.

I connect RT1170 and ethernet phy by SMI. As far as I checked SMI waveform, the hold time of MDIO is not enough about 8ns when RT1170 outputs.

I'd like to change the hold time more than 10ns.

Could you tell me how to change the hold time of MDIO?

This is the spec of my phy device. T4.3 should be more than 10ns.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting NXP support.

The 10 ns is the minimum hold time on the MDIO output. In relation with the bus frequency this setting may be increased. This field description to change this is given on the Chapter 60.5.1.8.4 of the reference manual on the table of Hold Time.

By changing this configuration you van increase the hold time.
