We are currently evaluating IMXRT1170 for our upcoming project and I have just started exploring it.
I am getting below issue while trying to configure PIT
Issue: PIT Driver is not found in the toolchain/IDE project. The project will not compile!
Level: Error
Type: Validation
Tool: Toolchain/IDE project
Origin: Peripherals
Target: Toolchain/IDE project: cm7
Resource: platform.drivers.pit
Can you please guide me as how do I fix this.

Thank you for your interest in the NXP MIMXRT product, I would like to provide service for you.
I try to configure PIT using MCUXPresso IDE v24.9.25 version, and the project compile success.
I suggest you can update your MCUXPresso IDE to the latest version, and try to it again.
Also, PIT module is simple, you can just import SDK demo "evkbmimxrt1170_pit_cm7", modify it to meet your needs.
