Hi,
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
Before answering your question, I'd like to confirm the below inquires with you.
1) Do you use the MIMIXRT1064 board for testing?
2) Does the error happen before or the first time arises?
Have a great day,
TIC

Hi @jeremyzhou,

We are using the Eval Board for testing.

We have written our custom code using UART. We tested it few times and it worked fine.

After that it started throwing the above mentioned error when we tried connecting in debug mode.

We tried running the same code with another EVAL kit and its working fine.

Regards,

Vinay.

Hi
Thanks for your reply.
According to your description, I'd like to suggest you try the below two tricks to solve the debug errors.
1) Update the firmware of the on-board debugger of the MIMXRT1064;
2) Configure the SW7 to Serial Download mode, then connect the board to debug, after that, unplug the board and recover the SW7 to its previous position, connect the board to debug again.
Have a great day,
TIC

Hi @jeremyzhou ,

Could you please elaborate the procedure.

As I have tried keeping the board in SWD mode SW7 - 0001

but it is still not connecting to flash the binary.

Regards,

Vinay
