The MIMXRT1010 looks intriguing.  The dev kit price is right ($10).

The demos are simple.  But does code go to SRAM?  Can you download code into the QSPI Flash?  If so, can you debug it?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
1) Can I still do this on my own design using a J-Link or MultiLink SWD JTAG debugger?
-- Yes.
2) Can I mix data and code on the same QSPI Flash device?
-- Yes, of course.

Hi ,

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and the opportunity to serve you.
1) But does code go to SRAM?
-- In the SDK library, the demos project not only allows you to debug it in the RAM but also in the QSPI flash just like the below figure shows.

That is good news.

Two more questions:

1.  Can I still do this on my own design using a J-Link or MultiLink SWD JTAG debugger?

2.  Can I mix data and code on the same QSPI Flash device?

Thank you,

Brad
