Hi NXP guys,

I'm using i.MX6ULL with nand flash.

I have a question about upgrade from sdcard boot.

Since I boot from sdcard, how can I upgrade the nand?

I'm concerning about:

1. How can I build the upgrade image for nand? Is the wic image that I built with nand u-boot configure?

2. How can I upgrade nand since I boot from sdcard?

Thanks guy,

I've find the solution.

Just refer to the uuu.auto script and follow its step, that's a way to upgrade firmware in flash.

The key point is: we must use kobs-ng to upgrade the boot, and take attention to the flag '-x'.

Hi joanxie,

It seems that you have misunderstood my question.

I'm querying the sdcard upgrade.

Since now I find a way to upgrade nand flash data as the uuu.auto does.

But unfortunately, after I flash the uboot partition with "kobs-ng init $pad -v --chip_0_device_path=/dev/mtd${nandboot} xxx", the device can not boot up.

Is there anything that I missed?

since your information is limited, I suggested that you can refer to the user guide about how to support NAND
