ov5640 - Is it possible to capture 1080p and 720p resolution in OV5640 (MIPI interface ) ?

I am using imx6 dual and want to capture with 1080p and 720p resolution at 30fps and 60fps respectively(using mipi interface). Is it possible to capture at 720p as well as 1080p resolution ?

If yes, how we can do the same?

Hello,

If you have enough RAM and with i.MX6D you will be able to capture image at 1080p with 30fps with MIPI, but you are going to display at 720p maximum.

We have 2GB DRAM here, whether it is sufficient for capturing with 1080p at 30fps?
May I know the reason behind why we can display only at 720p maximum? Can I get references regarding this?
