I am working on imx8mmevk. I have updated kernel version to 'imx_4.14.62_1.0.0_beta' as suggested by nxp document. Is it necessary to updated imx-u-boot version with it? Does it work with by default 'imx_v2017.03_4.9.123_imx8mm_ga' version?

Hello Rutuja,

Yes, migrate uboot as well, but you can use the general access BSP 4.19.35 that is available now.
