Hi,
We will be using the keypad port on our i.MX6 design. The company we are getting the
actual keypad PC board from says that due to the conductive ring used for the switch the
resistance will be about 1k ohms.
Is this ok? I didn't see a maximum switch resistance in the specification anywhere.
Thanks,
Matt
Hello?
Anybody from Freescale monitoring these boards?
Hi Matthew
yes 1k ohms will be good.
Please look how KPP module works in
Figure 38-1 "KPP Peripheral Block Diagram", Figure 38-4
i.MX6DQ Reference Manual (rev.1 4/2013)
Also sect.36.4.369 Pad Control Register (IOMUXC_SW_PAD_CTL_PAD_KEY_ROW1)
shows KPP module pull-up values, they are enough big for correct operation
with 1k ohms keypad.
