Hi all,

This is the first time I use this board, so I have no idea about how to use the PTP function of ENET, could anyone do me a favor to provide a test demo of PTP, so that I can clearly understand what to do, thank you very much!

ptp is not related to any board.

On x86/x64 pc is the same thing.

To help linux beginner and Junior.

We have some pure linux knowledge in one of the linux bsp release document "i.MX Linux Reference Manual"

more details, you can check the sourceforge.

Dear,

Thanks for your reply! I read the reference menu of i.MX6SoloX, there is IEEE1588 function in Chapter 24.6.10, but I don't know how to use it, do you have any suggestions on it ?

Looking forward to your reply, thank you!

If you use the linux and use the NXP BSP release.

You already can use it as previous reply.

If you are using vxwork, you should do it by yourself. and you can refer  to the linux driver.

and of course, you need to have IEEE 1588 knowledge to write down driver for vxworks.

Currently, NXP support Linux(with Yocto) and Android.

No support for vxworks.

Hello,

Sorry for disturbing you again, maybe I didn't express exactly, what I want to ask is how to get the timestamp when I receive the 1588 frame or send the 1588 frame, maybe the timestamp is stored in specific register, but I don't know how to get it.
