We are using i.MX6 Quad Core CPU with part number in our product MCIMX6Q5EYM12AC.
Product was manufactured 7 years back and still using in market.
Currently we are facing an issue that application is booting but, after some time screen is going black.
This issue occurred on 14 out of 650 units installed recently.
In the issue boards, when we checked the boot log, the temperature is showing a negative value.
We assume that CPU temp shown in the boot log is from “Temp Monitor” in the “Timers/Control” block diagram in the NXP document (IMX6DQCEC-010.pdf).
We would like to know, why/how this issue is occurring. Anybody faced this kind of issue?
