i.MX53 VPU decoding behavior

Hi,

I want to know the i.MX53 VPU decoder output when inputs non-standard frame.

If somebody knows this, please answer my following questions.

(Q) For instance, sequence start at P-frame, does VPU ignore P/B-frame and output nothing?

(Q) If not correct, what kind of decoded data outputs?

The VPU can decode P/B-frame too, but the sequence should follow the video specification.
