For some application gcc-4.4.4 is no more sufficient

does somebody knows how  to get this compiler gcc-4.6.2,  working for I.mx28 ?

can we compile only the application without recompiling the kernel,  and libs  ?

Thanks

Actually it does not matter which compiler is used to compile your binaries.

However you need to make sure that you are using right libc.

Have a great day,

Victor

Hi Victor , and thanks for your answer , so any version of compiler may work , if you have the good libc .

does  somebody knows  where to get gcc-4.6.2-glibc-2.13-linaro-multilib-2011.12-1.i386.rpm that seems to  be the right version mentionned  in LTIB

best regards
