Yocto iMX Camera and Player QT apps no preview content

Hello All:

Platform: i.MX6

OS: Yocto Morty

Kernel: 4.9.11

Display: HDMI 720P

As title, I think it's old problems since I touch Yocto with 4.1.15 kernel, How to fix no preview content in iMX Camera and iMX Player apps? It works if I issue Gstreammer commands, but no display for QT apps.

Hello Wig,

Would you please give us a bit more information? Are you using the 4.9 BSP Release or the morty branch from the Community BSP directly? Are you using X11 as distro?

Did you have these problems also on BSP Release 4.1.15?

Hello! It works already when I modify imx6q-pistachio.dts (my board) and enable mxcfb1 to mxcfb4..
And another trick is the boot argument have to take out "bpp=32" setting...

I think it's due to the FSL apps has some hard code to detect demo board setting but I'm not trace yet, after all,  I know what's going on, thanks!
