Hi all
We are considering reducing SOC and ARM power consumption.
I would like to change the clock root frequency of AXI, AHB, IPG from the information written in the Reducing Power Consumption of page 5 of AN 5383, but I can not boot with either fix.
Q1
There seems to be some limitation on the clock root frequency of AXI, AHB, IPG, but can you give me relevant information?
Q2
When entering Wait mode or Deep sleep mode, we have to adjust the frequency of the above 3 clocks.
Is there any change procedure and sample source code ?

Hello,
recommended configurations are provided in NXP Linux BSP, please use
sections 2.3.3 [CPU Frequency Scaling (CPUFREQ)] and 2.3.4 (Dynamic Bus Frequency) of
recent i.MX_Linux_Reference_Manual.pdf. The documentation contains information where working
points and source codes may be found.
Recent BSP doc package :

i.MX 6 / i.MX 7 Series Software and Development Tool|NXP
Have a great day,

Hi Yuri
Thank you for quick reply.
Maybe the section which you mentioned is section 23 and 24.
Am I correct ?
Ko-hey
I meant the recent doc package. It has slightly different structure.
Regards,
Yuri.
Yuri
I understand.
Thank you.
