Hello,

Is it possible to use HDMI and MIPI-DSI at the same time to create a two-display system? It doesn't seem to be explicitly stated in the documentation. In the sample EVK device trees with MIPI-DSI (fsl-imx8mq-evk-lcdif-rm67191.dts and fsl-imx8mq-evk-lcdif-adv7535.dts) the HDMI is disabled. Is it because it's impossible to use both in parallel or there's another reason for this?

Regards,

Dmitry

Hi Dmitry,

The relevant DTS file is fsl-imx8mq-evk-dual-display.dts. The following article may be helpful: How to use dual display on i.MX8 including 4k decoding - i.MXDev Blog
