Hi community.

Our customer has question ,The i.MX6 has there edition in HDCP function (SCIMX6U5EVM10CC) and function without the version (MCIMX6U6AVM08AC),

Then  Customer would like to determine the HDCP compliant and not support on the software or registers.

Would you tell me there is a register that can determine whether HDCP,

Customer does not determine below registers.

As a confirmed status register

The Product Identification Register1 (12 _ 0003h), both data same as C1h,

Configuration Identification Register0 (12 _ 0004h) both data same as 8 FH also .

Hello Takashi Takashi,

You should be able to see the HDCP support on the HDMI_PRODUCT_ID1[PRODUCT_ID1] and HDMI_CONFIG0_ID[hdcp] as you mentioned.

It’s strange that you’re seeing the same settings in both parts as the second part should not have the HDCP settings.

I’m investigating regarding this but it’s possible that you may need to open a Service Request to review the marking on these parts. I’ll let you know as soon as I have more information.

For reference to other community users these registers are explained on the Reference Manual (link below).
